Imagine walking through a lush tropical forest with the sound of exotic bird calls around you. Welcome to the Mata Atlântica, a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers alike. With its stunning array of bird species and breathtaking landscapes, this rainforest offers a truly unique bird photography experience. In this post, I'll tell you about my stay at the lodge Trilha dos Tucanos. So come and join me on a journey searching for the best bird shot!
My recent Kenya safari started with two nights in Tsavo East National Park, giving me time for two half-day and one full-day game drive.
Tsavo East is one of the oldest parks in Kenya (open since 1948) and also one of the largest. Its semi-arid plains are the ideal habitat for ‘red’ elephant, cape buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo, crocodile, kudu, gerenuk, oryx and about 500 recorded bird species.
